About this app

Tangler hands you a board and a stream of random tiles with coloured curves printed on them. You put each tile down so its curves carry on from the ones already there. When a colour finally closes into a loop, it disappears and frees up room for more tiles.

There is no timer, no score table and nothing chasing you. It is meant to be meditative, closer to drawing a mandala than to a race. You can choose between three board sizes, three tile shapes and up to six colours, with the colours on a tile either repeating or all different.

No ads, no purchases, no internet connection, and it asks for no permissions at all. It plays fine on a phone, especially on the smaller boards, but a tablet screen suits it better. There is also a desktop Java version if you would rather play on a computer.
