About this app
SDR++ is radio receiver software. Plug a software-defined radio dongle into your phone and you can tune across the airwaves — shortwave, aircraft, weather satellites, ham chatter, local FM — watching the signals scroll past on a waterfall display and listening to several at once.
It is the same program people run on desktop computers. The Android build handles RTL-SDR, Airspy, Airspy HF+, HackRF, PlutoSDR and HydraSDR dongles — SDRplay, LimeSDR and SoapySDR are not built into it — and it can also pull audio from a receiver on your network over rtl_tcp, SpyServer or an SDR++ server, so the antenna can sit on the roof while you listen from the sofa.
You need radio hardware for this: a dongle plus a USB OTG adapter, or a networked receiver somewhere. The app on its own has nothing to tune. Note also that the numbered releases carry no APK — the Android build comes only from the project's rolling nightly build.
