About this app
Stoat is a chat platform built around community servers — channels for different subjects, direct messages with friends, and roles for the people who run the place. If you have used Discord you will find your way around in a minute. The project used to be called Revolt.
This is the official Android app, written in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, so it behaves like a real Android app rather than a website in a wrapper. The app and the library it uses to talk to Stoat are both open source.
You need a Stoat account to sign in, and the app is still being actively built out, so expect the occasional rough edge.
