About this app
Snikket is a messaging app designed to make private, secure chat easy for everyone, not just tech experts. It's part of the Snikket project, which offers both the app and a simple way to run your own server, so you and your friends can own your conversations.
Built on the open XMPP standard, it's a straightforward alternative to big commercial messaging apps for individuals, families, or small communities.
