About this app
SlipNet is a VPN-style app for networks where the internet is filtered. It moves your traffic through channels that blocked connections usually still allow — ordinary DNS lookups, an SSH session, a Tor bridge or an HTTPS tunnel that looks like Chrome — so pages that were blocked start loading again.
There are several tunnel types to choose from (DNSTT, NoizDNS, VayDNS, Slipstream, NaiveProxy, SSH, DNS-over-HTTPS and Tor), most of which can be chained through SSH for an extra layer, plus a built-in scanner that hunts for DNS servers still reachable on your network. A step-by-step user guide is included in English and Persian.
You need a server to connect to: either a profile someone shares with you, or one you set up yourself with the project's own installer. SlipNet is only published on GitHub and the developers' Telegram channel — anything with this name on an app store did not come from them.
