About this app

Outline connects your phone to a VPN server that you or someone you trust runs. You paste in an access key, tap connect, and everything your phone sends goes out through that server, encrypted. It helps when the network you are on blocks sites, or when you would rather it could not see what you are doing.

It comes from Jigsaw, and the connection is built to be hard for a network to recognise and block. The app also works with any ordinary Shadowsocks server, not only Outline ones.

There is no server included and nothing to sign up for here. Someone has to create one first — the free Outline Manager for Windows, Mac or Linux sets one up on a cloud host — and then share the access key with you.
