About this app
Music Player Lite plays the audio files you already have on your phone. It finds them by itself and sorts everything into albums, artists and folders, with a search box for when you know what you are after. No ads, no account, no internet.
It is built to stay small and go easy on the battery. You get a queue with shuffle and repeat, controls on the lock screen and in the notification shade, headset buttons, a sleep timer, dark and light themes, and a choice of accent colour. Folders you would rather not see in your library can be hidden.
It is a straightforward player rather than a full library manager. Playlists were removed after causing problems and have not come back, and the developer's own notes say the equalizer and tag editor still need work.
